RIVIERA MAYA WILL HAVE ONE OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST FORMULA ONE CIRCUITS
It will be located in Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo and will be one of the best in the world.
Tulum, Qroo - At a recent press conference, the director of Grupo Constructor, engineer Mario Gonzalez, announced the construction of one of the world's greatest F1 circuits in the Riviera Maya. The estimated start date of construction is February 1, 2022, and the project will be completed in its entirety by November 2025.
With an area of 500 hectares, it is expected to be the best motor racing complex in the world, surpassing the "Yas Marina" racetrack in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. An investment of around 3.7 billion dollars will include two diamond hotels with 120 rooms each, an 18-hole golf course, shopping areas, a stadium for events, a water park, a driving academy, among others. In addition to generating at least 7000 jobs.
"With the technology that we will implement in the project, we will have the best car complex in the world, which will not be compared to those in Dubai and Qatar".
It was explained that all the environmental impact permits are already being processed by the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources, and that the layout of the circuit is under review by the FIA (International Automobile Federation), as it must comply with the regulations, engineering and technology established by this institution. In addition to the full support of the Governor of the State of Quintana Roo, Carlos Joaquin Gonzalez and the President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
This project adds another attraction to the Riviera Maya, increasing the leisure options for the large number of tourists who arrive daily to the destination, generating an annual revenue of approximately 800 million USD.
Undoubtedly a project that will increase the value of properties in the surrounding areas.
